- Just boot the computer via the windows cd.. it'll auto do most of it for you
- Reboot Your Computer And put In Your Windows disk And a menu should Pop Up Saying Press Any Key To continue... Press Any Key and A blue screen should pop up saying Press f8 To Install windows continue to the rest until a partition Menu Pops Up Install a New Partition So u wont lose Your Old windows Once Its All installed You reboot Your Computer To Windows Should Pop Up saying your old computer and your new one you should be finished But Remember Back Up all Your files Just in case Sorry if you couldn't Understand me.
- Lu Call back is a Norton Anti-virus problem. Just go to Add Remove programs in the Control panel and uninstall "LIve Update" and or "Norton Antivirus" or Norton Internet Security" or whatever other Norton or Symantec problems you have in that list. It could work faster if you unplug the internet while you do this. In your starup sequence ("start, run, msconfig, sartup) de-select everything in there and restart. OR Start windows in the "Safe Mode". If you want to reinstall windows, you either need a "System Restore Disk" or a good copy of your opreating system and you will lose all your data (so back up what yo need first). LUCallBack is form "LIve Update"
- Just put your installation disc in your CD drive and reboot. On the third screen (I think) it will show your drives and the boot disc. This will be accompanied with usually a 5 second countdown and "Press any key to proceed" or "Return". This then will reformat your hard drive and strip everything off and then completely reinstall your operating system. As the various installing questions come up just follow the instructions. It's what's called a clean install and you will just have the basic operating system. Everything else you will have reinstall. Before this don't forget to back off everything you want to keep because it will all be deleted with format!
