Can anyone help me with a very annoying computer problem?
Okay I need some serious help: My laptop (an HP) is so retarded. I get on and then, like thirty minutes later (sometimes it varies) it just automatically shuts down! This is a realy annoying problem and I have no idea how to fix it. It happens without warning! Whenever I am doing something, the computer just shuts down and wont start up again for a while! Can someone please help me?

- This could be due to a component overheating, possibly the cpu. check that there is heat sink paste between it and the fan. It could be the fan is losing efficiency.
- I agree with colinc, maybe try to blow out some dust in your PC.
